About & editorial policy

Keystone60 is a trade almanac for the open web, compiled in the tradition of printed commercial directories that served merchants and professionals before the digital age. Where those volumes catalogued enterprises by town, trade, and proprietor, Keystone60 catalogues web enterprises by their primary line of activity — organised into twenty-two sections that span the range of commerce and services found online.

The almanac currently carries 842 listed entries. Each record notes the enterprise's domain, its declared title, and a brief statement of its activity. Entries are arranged within their section alphabetically by domain, without ranking or prominence scoring of any kind. Keystone60 does not evaluate quality, endorse services, or make recommendations; it simply records what is there.

Submission is open to any legitimately operating web enterprise. There is no charge. The process asks for a domain, a title, a relevant section, and a short description. Entries are reviewed for basic completeness before filing. Once accepted, a listing remains in the almanac unless the underlying site ceases to operate or the entry is found to misrepresent its subject.

Keystone60 is maintained as a reference resource. It is not a search engine, an advertising platform, or a curated guide. It is a record — kept in the almanac tradition of systematic, impartial enumeration of what operates in a given trade.
